►ABOUT

The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma (KTO) Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) Program promotes to improve the quality of care for Low-Income Native American children.

The Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) is the primary Federal funding source devoted to providing low-income Native American families that are working or participating in education and training with help paying for childcare and improving the quality of care for all children.

The Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma receives the Child Care and Development Fund each year.  The KTO CCDF funds are used to fund a tribally operated center (Kickapoo Community Childcare Center (KCCC)) and a Certificate Program which assists low-income Native American families with childcare services.

The KTO CCDF program service area includes Cleveland, Lincoln, Oklahoma, and Pottawatomie counties.
